Abstract
The invention relates to a cardboard structure, comprising two outer layers 1, 2 made from lignocellulose or similar web material, and an intermediate layer 3 placed between them, the intermediate layer containing starch as an essential constituent. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacture of the cardboard structure, two outer layers 1, 2 made from lignocellulose fibres or similar web material and an intermediate layer 3 being combined into an integrated cardboard structure, the intermediate layer being manufactured by the use of starch as an essential constituent, and advantageously by causing the starch to foam or thicken. <IMAGE>
