Abstract

The invention concerns a disposable diaper 10 with a longitudinal centre line 90, front and rear hip parts 22 and 24, and a crotch part located between the front and rear hip parts, which disposable diaper has a liquid- permeable upper surface 50, a liquid-impermeable lower surface 30, an absorbent inner part 14, two side sections 27, and two elastic spring parts 65, so that one elastic spring part on the crotch area adjoins in an elastically contracting manner to each of the side sections. The aim is to reduce the sinking and inward pressing in the absorbent inner part 14 of the crotch part. The elastic spring parts 65 have crotch straps 60 for applying an external lateral stretching on the crotch part when the diaper is in use, the said external lateral stretching concerning that component of the stretching vector, generated by the crotch strap, which is at right angles to the longitudinal centre line in the diaper plane, each crotch strap 60 having elastic spring members running from the attachment line 70 in the edge 45 of the absorbent inner part 14, across corresponding side sections 27, to points which in the longitudinal direction lie outside and form an essentially V-shaped stretch structure. The attachment lines in corresponding side sections lie opposite each other and, in the lateral direction, at a distance of at most ca. 153 mm from each other, so that the said external lateral stretching is generated upon use. <IMAGE>
