Claims (3)
1. Vals fOr en anordning avsedd fOr kontinuerlig gjutning, i vilken anordning tunna remsor av smalt metal1 5 gjuts direkt mellan två valsar (1) eller på en vals, som omfattar en cylindrisk kårna (2) belagd med en fdrsta mantel (3) och kylkanaler (5) mellan mantein (3) och kårnan (2) eller i mantein (3), k&nnetecknad darav att valsen omfattar en omkring den fttrsta mantein (3) an- 10 ordnad andra mantel (4) som tillsammans med den fttrsta mantein (3) bildar två ovanpå varandra belagna cylindriska skikt, vilkas material ar så valda att den inre mantein (3) har en stOrre varmeutvidgningskoef f icient an den yt tre mantein (4), som ar i kontakt med den smalta metallen.
2. Vals enligt patentkrav 1, kanneteck- n a d darav att namnda två valsar (3, 4) ar fdrbundna med varandra, genom t.ex. svetsning, genom att det ena materialet pressas på det andra eller genom elektrolytisk yt-beiaggning.
3. Vals enligt patentkrav 1 eller 2, k a η n e - t e c k n a d darav att den inre mantein (3) ar fram-staild av koppar och den yttre mantein (4) av stål, nickel eller krom. II
