Abstract
The invention relates to the preparation of new piperidine derivatives with formula I, their stereoisomers, and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts <IMAGE> I where R1 is a higher alkyl group, R2 and R3 denote hydrogen or lower alkyl groups independently of each other, A is a divalent radical with the formula -(CH2)2, -(CH2)3 or -C(R6)=N-, where the carbon [FROM THE FINNISH VERSION - TRANSLATOR] atom is linked to a sulphur atom, R6 is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group, and Q is a radical with the formula -X-Ar (a), where X is >C=O, >CH-OH, >CH2, >C(OC2H5)2, <IMAGE>, or >C=N-OH, and Ar is a halophenyl group, or Q is a radical with the formula <IMAGE> b. These compounds can be used as psychotropic agents.
