Abstract

During roof bolting of a rock roof, when an anchoring rod 24 is to be driven into a borehole 26 in the rock, cement mortar is injected through a nozzle 22 situated in the borehole for partial filling of the hole before the rod is driven into the borehole. The injection jet must have a speed so that it reaches the bottom of the borehole. An ejection pump 45, 60 forces the mortar through a hose 28 into nozzle 22. <IMAGE>
