Abstract
Object of the invention is a SCR system for after-treatment of diesel engines' exhaust gases. It is characteristic for the system that it includes a high pres- sure nozzle (4) for water/urea mixture, which nozzle is mounted into the exhaust pipework in a way that the mixture jet achieves a speed in relation to the exhaust gas stream (9) that is sufficient for aerodynamic secondary break-up. Further object of the invention is a correspondent method for after-treatment of diesel engines' exhaust gases utilizing SCR technology.
