Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a weather resistant hot-rolled high strength structural steel product and to a weather resistant hot-rolled high strength structural steel product, containing in percentages of mass C: 0.04 to 0.16 %, Si: less than 0.8 %, Mn: 0.2 to 2.0 %, Cr: 2.0 to 5.0 %, B: less than 0.003 %, Ti: less than 0.04 %, Mo: less than 0.8 %, Nb: less than 0.05 %, V: less than 0.2 %, Ni: less than 2.0 %, Cu: less than 2.0 %, Al: 0.01 to 0.15 %, Ca: less than 0.01%, % and a balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities or residual contents.
