Esillä oleva keksintö liittyy menetelmään ja laitteistoon mustan väripigmentin valmistuksessa 5 käytettävän raakaaineen (46) valmistamiseksi. Keksintö liittyy lisäksi raakaaineeseen (46) mustan väripigmentin valmistamiseksi sekä biomassan (2, 4, 6) kaasutuksessa tuotetun raakasynteesikaasun (12, 14, 18) puhdistuksessa 10 raakasynteesikaasusta (12, 14, 18) erotetun tuhkan (20, 24, 26) käyttöön mustan väripigmentin valmistamiseksi.
