Abstract

Keksintö liittyy kipsi-kuitu-komposiittituotteeseen, jossa kipsi esiintyy kiteinä kuidun pinnalla ja jossa kipsikiteet saadaan sekoittamalla vesiliukoinen kalsiumyhdiste ja vesiliukoinen sulfaattiyhdiste vesipitoisen kuitususpension kanssa siten, että kalsiumyhdiste ja sulfaattiyhdiste reagoivat muodostaen kipsikiteitä. Keksintö liittyy myös menetelmään kipsi-kuitu-komposiittituotteen valmistamiseksi. Komposiittituotetta voidaan käyttää täyte- tai päällystepigmenttinä paperinvalmistuksessa.The invention relates to a gypsum-fiber composite product, in which the gypsum occurs as crystals on the surface of the fiber and in which the gypsum crystals are obtained by mixing a water-soluble calcium compound and a water-soluble sulfate compound with an aqueous fiber suspension such that the calcium compound and the sulfate compound react to form gypsum crystals. The invention also relates to a method for producing a gypsum-fiber composite product. The composite product can be used as a filler or coating pigment in papermaking.
