Abstract

Jotta voidaan aikaansaada sellainen menetelmä palamiskaasujen vaihtamiseksi (huuhtelemiseksi) ahdetussa kaksitahtipolttomoottorikoneessa, jossa kunkin sylinterin (1) yhteyteen on järjestetty ainakin yksi sylinterinkanteen (10) sovitettu imu- ja pakoventtiili (3, 4), sylinterissä (1) oleva mäntä (2) suorittaa iskuliikkeitä yläkulokohdan (OT) ja alakuolokohdan (UT) välillä ja sisältää sylinterinkantta (10) vastapäätä vaihtelevan tilavuuden omaavan sylinterithän (11), kaasunvaihtoa (huuhtelua) säädetään imu- ja pakoventtiilien (3, 4) avulla ja tulopainetasoa nostetaan poistopainetasoa suuremmaksi ahtojärjestelmän avulla, joka menetelmä mahdollistaa tehokkaan huuhtelun ja jossa polttamisen aikana muodostuva energia käytetään mahdollisimman tehokkaasti eli hyötysuhde paranee, on esitetty, että kaasunvaihto (huuhtelu) päättyy männän UT:stä OT:hen (9) suuntautuvan iskuliikkeen yläpuoliskoon.
