Abstract

Keksinnön mukaisessa menetelmässä lietteestä muodostetaan liete-sideaineaggregaatteja termisesti, jolloin ao. lieteaggregaattien muodostuksen yhteydessä lieteaggregaattien koko ja lämpötila tehdään kuivauksen kannalta optimaalisiksi. Lieteaggregaatit johdetaan kuivauslaitteeseen (3), jossa ne kohtaavat kuivaavan ilmavirran (3h). Kuivuminen johtuu siitä, että lämpimän lieteaggregaatin (3b) sisältämän veden höyrynosapaine on merkitsevästi suurempi kuin kuivausilman höyrynosapaine. Aggregaatin sisältämä kosteus siirtyy tehokkaasti kuivausilmaan, jolloin kuivausilman kosteus nousee kyllästyspisteeseen tai lähelle sitä; ja sen lämpötila nousee lähelle kuivauslaitteeseen tulevien lieteaggregaattien lämpötilaa. Kostuneen kuivausilman (3d) sisältämä energia otetaan talteen lämmönvaihtimella (3e), jota energiaa voidaan hyödyntää prosessissa esimerkiksi tarvittavan kuivausilman valmistukseen. Kuvio 1
