Uppfinningen avser ett glas (101) som reflekterar strålning av infraröd våglängd. I ett glas som avses i uppfinningen åstadkoms reflektering av infraröd strålning med en hinna som leder elektricitet och som är belägen på glasets yta, och i vilken sagda hinna det finns öppningar (103) som är maksimalt 10 mikrometer i diameter. Ett glas som avses i uppfinningen kan användas i tillverkning av lågenergifönster.
