Abstract

Sandwich-rakenteella ymmärretään konstruktiota, jossa eriste 30 ja siihen kiinnitetyt pintalevyt muodostavat yhtenäisen rakenteellisen kokonaisuuden. Patenttihakemuksen mukaisessa rakenteessa joko molemmat pintalevyt tai toinen niistä on korvattu rakenteen pituussuuntaisilla laudoilla 31, jotka peittävät eristelevyn joko kauttaaltaan tai osittain. Yleispätevää, sekä seinä- että katto- tai alapohjaelementiksi soveltuvaa ratkaisua perustellaan taloudellisin ja lujuusteknisin perustein, sitä paitsi harvaa laudoitusta käytettäessä tekniset riskit, esim. kosteuden tiivistyminen rakenteen kylmässä pintaosassa eivät toteudu.
