Abstract
Keksintö koskee vapaita nanokokoisia hiukkasia, jotka sisältävät vaikuttavaa ainetta, esimerkiksi terapeuttista, kosmeettista tai diagnostista ainetta, ja täyteainetta, morfologiaa muokkaavaa ainetta, funktionaalista, säädellysti vapauttavaa ja/tai stabiloivaa ainetta, ja tällaisten hiukkasten valmistusmenetelmää. Menetelmän mukaan valmistetaan vaikuttavaa ainetta tai kahden tai useamman vaikuttavan aineen yhdistelmää ja muuta ainetta tai aineita sisältävä raaka-aineliuos, joka atomisoidaan, pisarat suspendoidaan kantajakaasuun, kantajakaasu pisaroineen johdetaan kuumennetun reaktoriputken läpi ennalta määrätyssä ajassa ja lämpötilassa, ja muodostuneet hiukkaset kerätään talteen. Menetelmällä saadaan nanokokoisia, pallonmuotoisia, varautumattomia hiukkasia, joiden hiukkaskokojakauma on kapea, ja joilla on säädelty kiteisyys ja morfologia. Nanohiukkaset saadaan suoraan kuivana jauheena, eikä muita puhdistusvaiheita tarvita. According to the method, a raw material solution containing an active substance or a combination of two or more active substances and another substance or substances is prepared, which is atomized, the droplets are suspended in a carrier gas, the carrier gas with the droplets is passed through a heated reactor tube for a predetermined time and temperature, and the formed particles are collected. The method provides nanosized, spherical, uncharged particles with a narrow particle size distribution and controlled crystallinity and morphology. The nanoparticles are obtained directly as a dry powder, and no further purification steps are required. The particles have improved dispersion rate, bioavailability and stability.&sr;&sr;
