Abstract

Keksintö koskee vapaita nanokokoisia hiukkasia, jotka sisältävät vaikuttavaa ainetta, esimerkiksi terapeuttista, kosmeettista tai diagnostista ainetta, ja täyteainetta, morfologiaa muokkaavaa ainetta, funktionaalista, säädellysti vapauttavaa ja/tai stabiloivaa ainetta, ja tällaisten hiukkasten valmistusmenetelmää. According to the method, a raw material solution containing an active substance or a combination of two or more active substances and another substance or substances is prepared, which is atomized, the droplets are suspended in a carrier gas, the carrier gas with the droplets is passed through a heated reactor tube for a predetermined time and temperature, and the formed particles are collected. The method provides nanosized, spherical, uncharged particles with a narrow particle size distribution and controlled crystallinity and morphology. The nanoparticles are obtained directly as a dry powder, and no further purification steps are required. The particles have improved dispersion rate, bioavailability and stability.&sr;&sr;
