Abstract

A transporting device for a patient comprising a chair frame (10), (12) wheels (11) to move the frame and included in the upper part of the frame two projecting substantially horizontal bars (5), for placing seat portion (2) onto said bars by threading tubular formations (3) in the ends of seat portion (2) onto bars (5). The chairs has devices to move bars (5), as an eccentric mechanism (8), by means of which bars (5) can be both drawn away from each other and raised vertically.
