Abstract

Keksinnössä on esitetty menetelmä etälatauksen tilaa osoittavan tilaindikaattorin 320 lähettämiseksi lähettävän ja vastaanottavan laitteen välillä. Keksintö sopii käytettäväksi lyhyen kantaman radiokommunikaatioteknologiassa mukaan lukien Bluetooth lyhyen kantaman kytkentäteknologia. Eräässä suoritusmuodossa keksintöä hyödynnetään Bluetooth informaatiokioskiympäristössä. Suoritusmuodossa kioski 100 muodostaa yhteyden 300 useiden kannattavien laitteiden kanssa (102, 103, 104) käyttäen Object Exchange (OBEX) protokollaa. Tilaindikaattori estimoidaan esimerkiksi kioskin 100 toimesta aikaisempien tiedonsiirtojen käyttötilastoista muodostetuista malleista. Tilaindikaattori ja siihen liittyvää informaatiota lähetetään sovellusparametrien otsikossa ja päivitetään toistuvasti seuraavissa sovellusparametrien otsikoissa. Tilaindikaattori voidaan esittää kuvamuodossa, esimerkiksi onnistuneesti vastaanotetun datan määrää kuvaavana kasvavana pylväänä.&sr;(Kuvio 1)
