Abstract
Device for scanning the dead angle of optical rear-viewing for a vehicle. The device comprises means for emitting a wave beam (11, 12) which is arranged in the angular area (23, 24), the waves being reflected onto obstacles situated in the angular area, reception and selection means for the reflected waves, means for emitting sound and/light signals which are effective when the waves are reflected by an obstacle situated in the sector (25, 26) of intersection of the angular area (23, 24) and of the side band (13, 14), and means for controlling the emission means and which are active when the lever which actuates the electric signals for the flash lights is actuated. Application particularly to motor vehicles.
