Abstract

A joint arrangement comprises a hollow tubular column member (10) to which is attached a hollow tubular support member (11) by means of a bracket (12). The bracket (12) comprises a pair of parallel side plates (13) and specially curved upper and lower plate members (50) and (51). There are plates (30) provided internally of the column member (10) for bracing the bracket plates along their lines of attachment to the column member.
