Abstract
1. A cylindrical or polygonal moulding of graphite and nickel sulphide for the safe long-term containment of spent nuclear fuel rods in the original form or in a shaped form thereof, characterised in that it contains anchoring plates (1) in the top- (2) and bottom-region (3) and contains metal rods (4) which are fixed in the anchoring plates (1) in the nuclear fuel rod-free zones in the interior parallel to the main axis of the moulding.
