EL MICROORGANISMO CULTIVADO ES DEL GENERO CORYNECABTERIUM O BREVIBACTERIUM. DICHO MICROORGANISMO ES RESISTENTE A DOS O MAS ANTIBIOTICOS Y ASI MISMO A UN ANALOGO DE LA PIRIMIDINA; LOS ANTIBIOTICOS SE SELECCIONAN DE ENTRE EL GRUPO FORMADO POR LOS TIPOS AMINOGLICOSIDICO, ~J-LACTAMICO, MACROLIDICO Y RIFAMICINICO.A PROCEDURE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF L-LYSINE. IT CONSISTS OF CULTIVATING A MICROORGANISM OBTAINED BY PROTOPLASTIC FUSION AND CAPABLE OF PRODUCING L-LYSINE IN A NUTRIENT MEDIUM, FORMING AND ACCUMULATING L-LYSINE IN THE RESULTING CULTIVATION BROTH AND RECOVERING THE L-LYSINE FROM THE SAME. THE CULTIVATED MICROORGANISM IS OF THE GENUS CORYNECABTERIUM OR BREVIBACTERIUM. SUCH MICROORGANISM IS RESISTANT TO TWO OR MORE ANTIBIOTICS AND ALSO TO A PYRIMIDINE ANALOGUE; ANTIBIOTICS ARE SELECTED FROM THE GROUP FORMED BY THE AMINOGLYCOSIDIC, ~J-LACTAMIC, MACROLIDIC AND RIPHAMYCINIC TYPES.
