CONSISTE EN EL CALENTAMIENTO DE UNA CORRIENTE DE ALIMENTACION, QUE CONTIENE NO MENOS QUE 10% DE UNA DISOLUCION DE MONOSACARIDO CON UN PH DE 7 A 13 E HIDROGENO GASEOSO HASTA UNOS 100 C, QUE PASA A TRAVES DE ZONAS DE REACCION CATALITICAS CON NIQUEL DE ALTA ACTIVIDAD SOBRE SOPORTE INERTE; ADICION DE UNA DISOLUCION ALCALINA PARA MANTENER UN PH ENTRE 7 Y 13; Y MANTENIMIENTO A TEMPERATURAS ENTRE 130 C Y 180 C, 33 A 133 ATM DE PRESION PARCIAL DE HIDROGENO Y 0,5-16 V<F/H<R/V<C DE VELOCIDAD.
