CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE R , R , R Y M TIENEN LOS MISMOS SIGNIFICADOS QUE EN LA FORMULA (I), CON OXIDO DE PROPILENO. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO POR CALENTAMIENTO A REFLUJO EN AGUA Y EN PRESENCIA DE UNA BASE, O POR CALENTAMIENTO A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 60 C Y 98 C EN UN AUTOCLAVE. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES COMO COLORANTES PARA LA ESTAMPACION.
