Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO DE OBTENCION DE COMPOSICIONES DE VIDRIO PARA LA FABRICACION DE FIBRAS. SE PREPARA UNA MASA VITREA DE OXIDOS ALCALINOTERREAS CUYOS PORCENTAJES PONDERALES SON: 37-48% DE BIOXIDO DE SILICIO, 23-33% DE OXIDO DE CALCIO, 17-25% DE SESQUIOXIDO DE ALUMINIO, 0,1-7% DE OXIDO DE MAGNESIO, 0,1-3% DE SESQUIOXIDO DE HIERRO, 2-8% DE OXIDO DE SODIO, Y 0-7% DE OXIDO DE POTASIO, COMPLETANDOSE CON UNA CANTIDAD DE 3% DE IMPUREZAS. SE INTRODUCE DICHA MASA VITREA FUNDIDA EN UN CUERPO HUECO QUE GIRA A GRAN VELOCIDAD, DOTADO DE UNA PARED PERIFERICA PERFORADA POR NUMEROSOS ORIFICIOS, A TRAVES DE LOS CUALES EL VIDRIO SE PROYECTA HORIZONTALMENTE BAJO LA ACCION DE LA FUERZA CENTRIFUGA.
