METODO PARA REGENERAR UNA RESINA DE INTERCAMBIO CATIONICO CARGADA CON IONES MAGNESIO ABSORBIDOS. SE INTRODUCEN SECUENCIALMENTE PORCIONES DE LA RESINA CARGADA EN EL FONDO DE UNA COLUMNA DE REGENERACION Y UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA REGENERANTE DE ACIDO SULFURICO DEL 40-70% EN PESO POR LA PARTE SUPERIOR DE LA COLUMNA. SE SEPARA EN LA PARTE INFERIOR UNA SOLUCION DEL 20-50% EN PESO DE ACIDO SULFURICO QUE CONTIENE IONES MAGNESIO, A LA QUE SE AGREGA ACIDO SULFURICO CONCENTRADO AL 80-95% EN PESO PARA ELEVAR SU TEMPERATURA. SE REALIZA LA CRISTALIZACION Y PRECIPITACION DE SULFATO DE MAGNESIO AGREGANDO A LA SOLUCION ACIDO SULFURICO AL 70% EN PESO. SE SACA LA RESINA REGENERADA POR LA PARTE SUPERIOR DE LA COLUMNA Y SE LAVA CON ACIDO SULFURICO AL 30-40% EN PESO, POSTERIORMENTE CON ACIDO SULFURICO AL 5-20% EN PESO Y FINALMENTE CON AGUA, RECUPERANDOSE ACIDO SULFURICO AL 40-70% EN PESO RESIDUAL. EL ACIDO SULFURICO RESIDUAL SE PUEDE EMPLEAR EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE ROCAS DE FOSFATOS.
