Abstract

A device for filling a bag with a fowl having a stack of bags (10), means (11) for inflating the uppermost bag of the stack and a turntable (17) having an interruption for letting pass the bag from the stack to a position above said turntable, which allows for a short machine construction, and preferably a cam (24) that is coaxially mounted with the turntable and can be rotated to and fro for controlling retaining members on said turntable.
