CONSISTE EN EL TRATAMIENTO DEL 1-CLORO-2,6-DINITRO-4-(TRIFLUOROMETIL)BENCENO CON UNA DISOLUCION ACUOSA DE BISULFITO SODICO, POTASICO O AMONICO, QUE TIENE UNA CONCENTRACION DE 1 A 5% DE SO , A UN PH ENTRE 1 Y 3, A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 50 C Y 100 C, DURANTE 1 A 3 HORAS; SEGUIDO DE LA SEPARACION DE LAS DOS CAPAS Y ELIMINACION DE LAS ULTIMAS TRAZAS DE BISULFITO DE LA CAPA ORGANICA, POR LAVADO CON UNA DISOLUCION ACUOSA DE CARBONATO SODICO. ESTE COMPUESTO TIENE APLICACIONES PARA LA FABRICACION DE TRIFLURALINA, PRODUCTO EMPLEADO COMO HERBICIDA.
