PROCEDIMIENTO PARA COLOREAR PAPEL. CONSISTE EN LA OBTENCION DE UN PRODUCTO AUXILIAR CATIONICO, POR REACCION DE UN AGENTE ALQUILACION, QUE POSEE UN SUSTITUYENTE AROMATICO, CON UN POLIELECTROLITO CATIONICO; SEGUIDA DE LA MEZCLA CON UNA PASTA DE PAPEL DE 0,1 A 10% DE UN COLORANTE ACIDO O DIRECTO, REFERIDO AL PESO DE PASTA, 10 A 300% DEL PRODUCTO AUXILIAR CATIONICO, REFERIDO AL PESO DE COLORANTE Y, EVENTUALMENTE UN ENCOLANTE; DESAGÑUE Y SECADO DE LA SUSPENSION OBTENIDA. TAMBIEN SE PUEDE APLICAR EL PRODUCTO AUXILIAR CATIONICO Y EL COLORANTE SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DE UNA HOJA DE PAPEL YA FORMADA. ESTE PAPEL TIENE APLICACIONES PARA EMPLEAR CON OTROS MATERIALES, TALES COMO PRODUCTOS ALIMENTICIOS, MATERIALES TEXTILES U OTROS PAPELES, EN PRESENCIA DE UN LIQUIDO.
