Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO DE SEPARACION DE HIERRO EN ESTADO FERRICO DE UNA SOLUCION DE LIXIVIACION DE SULFATOS. SE OXIDAN LOS IONES FERROSOS PRESENTES EN LA SOLUCION DE LIXIACION DE SULFATOS, AL ESTADO FERRICO AÑADIENDO UNA CANTIDAD ESENCIALMENTE ESTEQUIIOMETRICA O UN PEQUEÑO EXCESO NO SUPERIOR A 120 POR 100 DE LA CANTIDAD ESTEQUIOMETRICA, DE UN COMPUESTO PEROSULFURICO, A DICHA SOLUCION. DICHO COMPUESTO PEROXOSULFURICO SE PRODUCE IN SITU MEDIANTE OXIDACION ELECTROQUIMICA DE ACIDO SULFIRICO O DE UNA MEZCLA DE ACIDO SULFURICO Y SUS SALES.
