LA MEZCLA SE CALIENTA HASTA UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 150 Y 300 C Y SE OBTIENE FLUORURO DE HIDROGENO Y COMPUESTOS VOLATILES COMO PENTAFLUORURO Y OXIFLUORURO DE FOSFORO. EL FLUORURO Y ESTOS COMPUESTOS SE SEPARAN DEL ACIDO EN EXCESO Y DE LA MATERIA RESIDUAL. SE SEPARA EL FLUORURO DE HIDROGENO DE DICHOS COMPUESTOS Y SE AISLA. LOS COMPUESTOS VOLATILES PUEDEN HIDROLIZARSE PARA OBTENER MAS FLUORURO ADICIONAL.
