Abstract

Process for thermosealing a cap (26) on a container (30) by circulating in the magnetic field produced by an elongated conducting loop (31) a slit crown (34) called "focusing relay", said relay being intended to intercept an important flux issued from the loop with a view to rendering at the vicinity of the metal portions of the cap a flux substantially equal to the intercepted flux. The preferred machine for implementing the above-mentioned process comprises two conveyor belts (23), one called a presser belt and the other one called a carrier belt, delimiting a passageway (4) for the containers.
