Y 5 MM., APROXIMADAMENTE; LA PALETA TIENE UNAS DIMENSIONES APROXIMADAS DE 20 MM. Y 10 MM. LA REDUCCION DE FRACTURA SE LOGRA INTRODUCIENDO UN HAZ DE CLAVOS POR EL CANAL MEDULAR, A TRAVES DE UN ORIFICIO REALIZADO EN LA APOFISIS INFERIOR DEL FEMUR; EL HAZ DE CLAVOS SE FIJA POR UN TORNILLO, ROSCADO EN LA APOFISIS INFERIOR DEL FEMUR, QUE PASA POR LA RANURA (4) Y QUE PERMITE EL DESLIZAMIENTO DE AQUELLOS EN UNA DISTANCIA IGUAL A LA LONGITUD DE LA RANURA, YA QUE EL TORNILLO PUEDE OCUPAR UNA POSICION FINAL COMPRENDIDA ENTRE LOS PUNTOS LIMITES DE ELLA (12, 13).
