SE DEBE CUMPLIR ADICIONALMENTE QUE EN PRESENCIA DE AMBOS HIDROCARBUROS SE IMPIDA LA FORMACION DEL CITADO GEL. LA REACCION SE INICIA POR CALENTAMIENTO DE LOS PRODUCTOS REACCIONANTES HASTA UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 120GC Y 200GC.
