Abstract

Eje para pedales y otros elementos de bicicletas y similares, caracterizado por presentar en un extremo, a continuación del cono formado por el mismo eje para el correspondiente cojinete de bolas, una ranura circular en la que va encajado un anillo de un material elástico que sobresale ligeramente de la superficie del eje y se aplica con rozamiento suave contra la superficie interior de la parte giratoria del pedal o elemento análogo, constituyendo un retén que evita la pérdida de la grasa de lubrificación del cojinete e impide la entrada de polvo.
