Abstract

Conjunto de catéter intravenoso que incluye (1) una unidad de catéter constituida por: (a) un catéter de plástico flexible provisto de una extremidad alejada, de forma ahusada, (b) un dispositivo de inserción de catéter provisto de aletas que tiene un conducto central que lo atraviesa, comunicando la extremidad próxima de dicho catéter con dicho conductor central y dicho dispositivo de inserción de catéter a través de su extremidad alejada, © un tubo flexible que tiene su extremidad alejada en comunicación con dicho conductor central y dicho dispositivo de inserción de catéter a través de su extremidad próxima, (d) un casquillo de tubo provisto de un conductor central que lo atraviesa, comunicando la extremidad próxima de dicho tubo flexible con dicho conductor central de dicho casquillo de tubo a través de su extremidad alejada, y (2) una aguja que está introducida a través de dicho catéter, un dispositivo de inserción de catéter provisto de aletas, un tubo flexible y un casquillo de tubo,teniendo dicha aguja una extremidad alejada de dicho catéter y una extremidad próxima conectada con el casquillo de aguja, estando dicho conjunto caracterizado por la mejora que consiste en: unos medios complementarios asociados con dicho conductor central de dicho dispositivo de inserción de catéter provisto de aletas y con dicha aguja, interconectados mecánicamente para asegurar la alineación axial y giratoria de dicha aguja con relación a dicha unidad de catéter en cualquier momento.
