Abstract

Mecanismo de pedal para freno de autovehículo del tipo con brazo de palanca variable, que comprende una palanca empernada a un punto físico del chasis del vehículo y accionable mediante presión del pie sobre el extremo libre venciendo la tracción de un resorte, y una contera articulada con la palanca y apta para accionar una bomba hidráulica cuando el pedal es accionado, caracterizado por el hecho de que dicha contera presenta una horquilla que abraza con sus dos ramas la palanca del pedal y que tiene un perno pasante por una abertura practicada en la palanca, y por el hecho de que la horquilla presenta además un rodillo de guiado apto para adaptarse contra un contorno de leva conformado por la palanca, cual leva es tal que al girar la palanca en el sentido de accionamiento del freno el rodillo de guiado hace desviar la dirección de acción de la contera de modo que se reduce la distancia del fulcro a tierra.
