Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar fibras inorgánicas huecas, caracterizado porque comprende (a) preparar una solución de un polímero orgánico formador de fibra, que contiene, en una forma uniformemente dispersada, un material inorgánico sinterizable; (b) extruir la solución polímera que contiene el material inorgánico a través de una hilera de fibras huecas; © formar una fibra polímera hueca, precursora, cargada con el material inorgánico; (d) tratar la fibra polímera hueca, precursora, para separar el polímero orgánico; y (e) sinterizar el material inorgánico resultante en forma de fibra hueca.
