Abstract
Procedimiento para el tratamiento de disoluciones radioactivas, concentradas, que contienen compuestos orgánicos como formadores de complejos, caracterizado porque se lleva el valor del pH a 5 por adición de H2SO4 o bien NaOH, a continuación se agrega permanganato potásico (KMnO4) en forma pulverulenta o como disolución saturada en frío (al 6% aproximadamente) como agente de oxidación, con lo que se desprende CO2, se prolonga la dosificación de KMnO4, bajo mantenimiento constante del valor del pH, por medio de H2SO4, hasta que permanezca estable el color de KMnO4 típico en la disolución residual durante al menos 10 horas y se solifica entonces esta disolución con cemento o tras desecado se compacta en betún.
