Abstract
Procedimiento de fabricación de bolas de alúmina de doble porosidad, caracterizado porque: A) se mezcla a un pH inferior de 7,5, por una parte, un sol de boehmita ultrafina o seudoboehmita, estando exento el sol de boehmita de alúmina amorfa, estando comprendida la concentración en peso del sol expresada en Al2O3 entre 5 y 25% y, por otra parte, en una proporción comprendida entre aproximadamente 30 y 95% en peso (con relación a los sólidos totales), de partículas esferoidales de alúmina esencialmente en forma de al menos una de las fases incluidas en el grupo constituido por beta, gamma, delta, zeta, presentando estas partículas un volumen microporoso comprendido entre aproximadamente 0,4 y 1 cmu/g, una superficie específica comprendida entre aproximadamente 100 y 350 m2/g, estando comprendido el diámetro de las partículas entre aproximadamente 1 y 50 micras; B) se pone en forma esferoidal y se gelifican gotas de la mezcla; C) se recuperan las bolas gelificadas que se secan y se calcinan auna temperatura comprendida entre aproximadamente 550 y 1100ºC.
