Abstract

Procedimiento mejorado para fabricar floroglucinol a partir de 2,4,6-trinitrotolueno, que comprende preparar una solución de 2,4,6-trinitrotolueno, la cual se somete a oxidación que da lugar a ácido 2,4,6-trinitrobenzoico, el cual se reduce a ácido 2,4,6-triaminobenzoico que a su vez se hidroliza y descarboxila para proporcionar el floroglucinol, en el que la mejora comprende emplear como solución de 2,4,6- trinitrotolueno de partida, una que consiste en 2,4,6- trinitrotolueno en ácido sulfúrico fumante (oleum) cuya concentración puede variar entre 10 y 40% en peso.
