Abstract

Un aparato para congelar comestibles previamente envasados en recipientes de almacenamiento de fondo sustancialmente plano, comprendiendo dicho aparato medios de cubierta de transportador que incluyen una superficie de transporte estacionaria alargada sustancialmente plana que se extiende longitudinalmente desde una posición de entrada de recipientes a una posición de salida de recipientes y destinada a soportar sobre la misma una pluralidad de tales recipientes distribuidos sobre su longitud entre dichas posiciones, teniendo dicha superficie de transporte una pluralidad de aberturas de descarga de aire en la misma distribuidas sobre su longitud en posiciones que estarán por debajo de dichos recipientes, medios de congelador de aire que incluyen medios de intercambio de calor, medios de soplador y medios de recirculación de aire cerrados asociados susceptibles de cooperación para congelar y poner bajo presión y hacer recircular el aire de congelación a presión continuadamente en una trayectoria que incluye un espacio de cámara impelente por debajo de dicha superficie, en la que el aire es puesto bajo presión para flujo hacia arriba a través de dichas aberturas de descarga y un espacio de recogida superpuesto a dicha superficie para el retorno de aire al lado de aspiración de dichos medios de soplador, para formar con ello y mantener debajo de cada recipiente una película de soporte de aire de congelación que fluye hacia fuera desde entre dicha superficie de transporte y el fondo de cada recipiente, siendo la presión del aire de la película eficaz para elevar a dichos recipientes ligeramente por encima de dicha superficie, para permitir un avance sustancialmente sin rozamiento de los recipientes sobre dicha superficie, y siendo la velocidad del flujo de aire de la película con relación a cada recipiente eficaz para transferir calor 4ápidamente desde los recipientes y por lo tanto desde los comestibles que hay en ellos, y medios para efectuar un avance gradual sustancialmente simultáneo de dicho s recipientes sustentados sobre la película en dirección desde dicha posición de entrada a dicha posición de salida a un régimen de velocidad media controlada sustancialmente despreciable con relación a la velocidad del flujo de aire de dicha película, con lo que el régimen con el que se toma calor de los comestibles es sustancialmente independiente de tal velocidad de avance, incluyendo las variaciones en la misma.
