Abstract
Procedimiento para el tratamiento de ácido fosfórico conteniendo una o más impurezas consistentes en iones de al menos uno de los metales del grupo formado por magnesio, hierro y aluminio, caracterizado porque comprende calentar el ácido bajo condiciones tales de temperatura, presión, tiempo y concentración que se cause la precipitación de al menos algunas de estas impurezas en forma de un pirofosfato del ión metálico en cuestión, y en el caso de que el magnesio sea el principal constituyente entre dichas impurezas, el calentamiento del ácido se efectuará bajo condiciones de temperatura, presión, tiempo y concentración que causen la precipitación de más del 60% masa/masa de dicho magnesio.
