Abstract

Derivados de 4-N-acilfortimicina B de estructura **(Fórmula)** donde R es acilo, aminoacilo, N-monoalquil(inferior)aminoacilo, N,N-dialquil(inferior)aminoacilo, hidroxi-aminoacilo sustituido o aminoacilo sustituido de fórmula O=C-CH2NHR1 donde R1 es un radical acilo derivado de un aminoácido o de un péptido corto, y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables. Los compuestos son útiles como intermediarios en la preparación de derivados de 4-N-alquil (o alquil sustituido) fortimicina B. Además de su utilidad como intermediarios, algunos de los compuestos de esta invención también son útiles como agentes antimicrobianos.
