Abstract

Compositions suitable for moulding impact resistant articles comprise a vinyl or vinylidene halide polymer and a minor proportion of an ABS or MBS polymeric impact modifier and a block thermoplastic elastomer wherein the major proportion of the monomer units are residues of a mono-alkenyl- substituted arene compound of the benzene or naphthalene series of 8 to 20 carbon atoms and a conjugated alkadiene hydrocarbon of 4 to 10 carbon atoms or alternatively comprise a vinyl or vinylidene halide graft polymer on a polyolefin substrate together with a minor proportion of such a block thermoplastic elastomer.
