Abstract

1. Un procedimiento para fabricar machos o moldes de fundición, que comprende mezclar material aglomerado y una cantidad aglutinante de una composición aglutinante, que comprende (A) un componente de resina fenólica que incluye al menos una resina fenólica seleccionada del grupo que consiste en resinas de resol fenólicas y resinas de novolaca fenólicas, suficiente disolvente para reducir la viscosidad del componente de resina Fenólica por debajo de aproximadamente 1000 centipoises que comprende una mezcla de (1) disolvente hidrocarbonado y (2) disolvente orgánico polar que contiene al menos suficiente éster orgánico seleccionado del grupo que consiste en éster orgánico seleccionado del grupo que consiste en ésteres de fosfato orgánico y carbonato orgánico y sus mezclas para aumentar la velocidad de curado y la solubilidad de dicho componente de isocianato que tiene una funcionalidad de dos o más, continuar mezclando la mezcla resultante y revestir dicho material aglomerado con dicha composición aglutinante, conformar el material aglomerado revestido en forma de macho o molde, hacer reaccionar los componentes (A) y (B) en presencia de (c )catalizador suficiente para efectuar sustancial y completamente la reacción entre dichos componentes, y formar un macho o molde de fundición conformado.
