Abstract
In the mixing of dough products there is provided a mixing unit (1) having a mixing and thrust member (110) rotatable within a mixing bowl (100), means for blending the ingredients and means on the thrust member for forcing the finished dough through an opening, in the base of the bowl into an extrusion unit (2) having an extrusion screw (210). The mixing unit (1) and the extrusion unit (2) are removably arranged with respect to an outer body (4) of the machine and shaped so as to prevent the outflow of the flour or of portions of the dough or the penetration thereof into a space enclosing a motor or gear-reducer unit (3), the mixing and thrust member (110) of the mixing unit (1) and the extrusion screw (210) of the extrusion unit (2) being so shaped as to reduce the absorbed power.
