Abstract
Compounds which are inhibitors of gamma -aminobutyric acid transaminase, having the formula < IMAGE > wherein R1 is hydrogen, (C1-4 alkyl)carbonyl, C1-4 alkoxy) carbonyl or -CO- CHR3-NH2 wherein R3 is hydrogen, C1-4 alkyl, benzyl or p-hydroxybenzyl and R2 is hydroxy, C1-8 alkoxy, -NR4R5 wherein each of R4 and R5 is hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl or -NH-CHR6-COOH wherein R6 is hydrogen, C1-4, benzyl or p- hydroxybenzyl and salts thereof.
