Abstract

A first endless conveyor (1) runs at least partly in the horizontal direction and has the sensitive goods e.g. harvested grapes moved from it to a higher level by a second endless conveyor (3). Holders (3a) are provided for the goods during their transport. The holders and the first conveyor have in their conact region the same linear velocity. Guides, e.G. a part (1a) of the first conveyor, transfer the goods from the first to the second conveyor. The guide can be a fixed plate which follows the contours of the second conveyor at the transfer point.
