Abstract

Insecticidal compositions for use as baits comprise a nutrient material, which is attractive for insects, and O,O-dimethyl S-(4-aza-6-chloro-2- oxo-benzoxazol-3-yl)-methyl thiophosphate [azamethiophos]. The azomethiophos is used in amounts of low toxicity for man and domestic animals and pets. The nutrient may be an amino acid, protein or carbohydrate. An insect lure may also be included in the compositions.
