Abstract

The mounting for a motor comprises two rigid members (1, 2) securable to the motor and to the fixed structure. The two rigid members are connected by a block (11) of elastomeric material. The first member (1) has an arm (13) extending between opposite faces of a bracket (3) connected to the second member (2). The opposite faces are constituted by resilient stops (8, 9) limiting the excursions of the first member due to vibration. The bracket is adjustable (7, 14) so that after application of the static load on the elastomeric pad the bracket can be set for the stops to be equidistant from the arm.
