Process for preparing tetrasubstituted organotin compounds which are useful for controlling insects and pests and as herbicides. Most of these tetrasubstituted organotin compounds, obtained by the process of the invention, are novel compounds. Some tetrasubstituted organotin compounds are already known in the prior art.
